Confessions of a drunken teenage hater
“Those successful women proudly waving their power are every woman’s enemy just as much as they are every every man’s. Even immature men like immature women have every right to hate bosses styling their domination on familial models, like all the frustrated empty-nested Jewish mothers on the proul looking for some young man lurking in the corner they can browbeat by telling him, as always, boy, get back to work, and pick up your damned straw so that I don’t have to anymore. Yes, there is maternal domination as a style of oppression. Yes, male tyrants are pricks and female tyrants bitches. American liberalism defends them on the aristocratic principles of English culture, which has had female monarchs, splendid you suppose, no glass ceiling for this Elizabeth, not a republican or democratic innovation but celebrated (a bit overmuch, surely) all the same.
Yes, a bit childish sometimes myself, I complained when I should have just left. Those who feather their nest from the heights of their cubicles, we may want to just let them do that. So one should not be childish. And if the boss criticizes you for that, you’ll be the one who has to leave, but that corporate social power still rests on familial roots is no defense of it. When you leave you should give them a real fuck you somehow, maybe in the smart, cold way said of revenge, though a post-Oedipal left politics is surley at least a displaced form of hatred of familial oppression, we’re allowed at least that much aren’t we? It is true that forms of domination were styled on familial roots. Maternal domination like the paternal kind is rightly an object of hatred. In America, the corporate state now often speaks with feminine accents. They say politically incorrect, I hear decapitated hens cackling “lèse majesté!”
I admit I have the political conscience of an orphan. Orphans dislike legitimists. Legitimacy is the only thing conservatives defend. Legitimists only want to have their nice families and succeed professionally, thus they are conservatives. They can be as they are, let be as Hamlet said at last, except if they are trying to enforce their way of life against the rest of us. Always, power is psychological, especially in America. The political is defined as the violence it in fact is not, which is why it is best realized in art. If those people did or do have happy families that encouraged their professional creative ambitions as so many Jewish ones did and do, bravo for them. If they are conservatives enforcing the organized frustration of mine, I refuse their company as they refused me from their corporation, and I hope to have the first and last word in this, because I am right and, most importantly, they are so wrong. My friends are the other bastards. Bastards of the world, if we can’t unite, we can at least spit and fight.
My Jewish friends are the ones who are happy and proud being pariahs, and can only be ashamed when they are parvenus, let alone parvenu enforcers, about which enough has been said by now, except that now they are doing this while whining idiotically about antisemitism, which might mean someone hurt their feelings, which reminds them of all they learned about the progroms that led to the Holocaust, though often all they do at best is enforce protestant good manners, and at worst, well, you see what the new Vietnam looks like. Colonialism and its defenders are back, in fact they never left the scene, though for a while they had replaced the denunciations of colonial genocides with that of acts of scandalous hubris committed by paranoid politicians who would not play by the rules and were surely just mentally ill anyway, as we know Hitler was, except he got it wrong in figuring so many improperly German people to be that, but actually, good Jews with good careers and families who worked hard building their installations, they aren’t the crazy fuckers, it’s you who are. And since many people learn forms of oppression from the most intimate familial roots, I trust other bastards more than the legitimate heirs proud of their rightly inherited legitimacy, which is what Jewish identity is now often said to be about, curiously, of plantations or rather factories and other properties their families owned in Europe before the Holocaust so frustratingly dispossessed them, while incidentally murdering thousands of times as many desperately poor people, some because they were Jewish and their haters imagined them as bankers, and some because they were just in the way. Some indeed were bums and had no nationality to speak of, though we did get out of them some great music. Some were never rescued and empowered with warplanes and nuclear arsenals to protect the middle class among them in the name of whoever is the evil whatever of profiteers behind the pentagon. That the Nazis said they hated that elite with exaggerated ethnic attributions might indeed be further evidence that you shouldn’t hate anyone, though my opinion is that’s not the biggest problem today. There is a leftism of fools, we know that, the smart left does, though the discourse of anti-anti-semitism today is almost entirely one of the right even when it thinks it is something else. They are defending identity and the form of it that is property right, that is rightist, and their claim is that that is the only way not to be victims. But now it is becoming clearer than ever that it is no way at all. There is no way to assure yourself that you will never be a victim, or a perpetrator. The only way to pretend to such an assurance is through the immunitarian and thantalogical projects of the population-cleansing military nationalism that tries to build states of pure subjectivities, a kind of horribly misplaced dietary code applied to peoples in a manner resembling the Nazi discourses that, systematically perverting every ethical and political affirmation they could get their hands on, very much did that.
Families and decent folks you should honor and love, sure, that’s fine, but whoever said we’re against morality? I am with the pariahs and the exiles, the parvenus like all the good families may, as Hamlet said, stay as they are, though I would either have no more familialism or just ignore it since of course it is not interesting. Neither of course is the nouveau communal familialism of wiggles in your hair style.
The torturer could have any kind of mask or speak in any accent. It doesn’t even matter if he himself is an untouchable pariah (with a badge proudly announcing this status, so you are reminded you had better show respect, boy). Even the Jewish oppressor (whose oppression of you, for the record, does not result from Talmudism (which (copyright this with a symbol) I Too love), though its culture did not oppose it and perhaps could not then) who might be a bailiff collecting rent and enforcing your eviction is really not doing this because he’s a Jew, that’s not your problem, even when now he might think it’s his. When people with any particular identity, special as all of ours is, worth claiming as title to not being hated for their form of life and maybe denied their bare life, wrong or oppress others, it’s only what is being done and happening to us victims, which can be all of us and maybe in some sense ultimately is, that can be intelligibly opposed. Sure people have a right to not be hated, and to be the way they want to be as they/we enjoy a form of life and pursuit of happiness. Everyone hates being killed, or being dominated. The American liberal promise of protection of all the kids in the kindergarten office classroom of the corporate state against any prejudice or unpleasant remark by another child, as a political idea that is overstated, and maybe now the corporate liberal progressive pseudo-left will have to give it up since the right has attacked it, among the horrible things they weaponize some true complaints in order to perform with maximum support and neutralized resistance. That state that protects your freedom not be annoyed or bothered may also murder you, though as progressives know that is a detail.”
