Saying no to sex or no to giving birth? The job of the Supreme Court and Kavanaugh's unfitness for it

Comment published on New York Times online blog, August 19 ,2018, in response to op-ed essay by Peter Baker and Nicholas Fandos, “Kavanaugh’s supporters and his accuser are at an impasse over her testimony”:

If Judge Kavanaugh doesn't respect women's right to say no to sex, should he be empowered to decide if they have the right to terminate a pregnancy?

This gives him a conflict of interest that should disqualify him from serving on the Supreme Court.

Indeed, more broadly, does any American person have any rights? What kinds of persons should be empowered to make this kind of decision? It is the kind of question the Court is deciding all the time.
