If injustice is crime, can politics be reduced to law?

A depoliticized society governs by law and medicine and their analogues. The constant vilification of other persons substitutes for a politicization of issues of shared concern. There is no commons, but there is still the apparatus of policing, law, and punishments and the constant recourse in addressing every social problem or disagreement is to it. I can't argue with you but can do that one better: You aren't mistaken or wrong, you're guilty (and that is why you are wrong in what you say)! The polis is a giant law court.
